Background: Well, I'm a mix. I'm half Ghawali Rajput and half Malayali.
My first break: I entered professional modelling with the India Fashion Week way back in 2000. But I got noticed first at the Femina Miss India Contest 2000. I was the third runner up in the Miss India finals.
Favourite Indian designer: There are many -- Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Arora are among the top few.
Favourite international designer: Versace. I simply love her gowns.
Style statement: My style is all about comfort -- give me a nice pair of jeans, a T-shirt and sneakers and I am good to go. When it comes to sports shoes, my favourite brand is Reebok.
Fitness regimen: I gym thrice a week and jog for 5 kms. I don't believe in jogging on a treadmill. I think jogging outdoors makes a world of a difference because of the fresh air.
Skincare: I swear by the Face Oil Treatment from Clarins. I also put malai on my face and leave it for about half an hour. It really works for my complexion. I also drink loads of water.
Hair care: Oil massaged into my hair by my hubby works up the magic! Oil massage three or four times a week is the best way to maintain healthy hair.
