New Delhi: After all the preparation, it's time to take the test.
The CBSE Class 10 board exams begin on Friday with more than 7 lakh students are all set to test their mettle. The first paper is Social Science.
This time, the CBSE has taken various steps to make things easier for the students.
The answer papers will be bulkier so that students do not waste time asking for supplementary pages.
CBSE will also introduce hi-tech optical character reading sheets for computer evaluation in Science practicals. There will be more objective type questions in Math, Science and Technology papers.
The Math paper this time will have 80 marks devoted to theory and 20 to internal assessment.
Similarly in Science and Technology, the theory paper will carry 60 marks comprising 24 questions.
Last year the Board had introduced additional 15 minutes for the students to read the question papers, which will continue this year too.
