Love Food: Roses
Yes you read it right, roses and the reason? Chief Viraf Patel couldn't have answered better, ""Why give her roses when you can feed them to her?"

His previous experiences include having working with Indigo for two years and in Hyderabad as an Executive chef at Nagarjuna's Touch.

So the ingredients you would require to make this flowery dish is:
Seasonal fruits each thinly sliced
- Kiwi
- Strawberry
- Plums
- Apples
- Assorted lettuce, hand full washed and dried.
Rose petal dressing
- Rose petals of 2 roses- washed and crushed
- White wine vinegar-20ml
- "Gulkhand" 1 tsp
- Extra virgin olive oil- 30ml
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ricotta Cheese- 30gms

Now once you've got all the basics in place, just mix the ingredients in a bowl. Pour them into a bottle and chill, shake well before use. Then, in a bowl place the lettuce, sprinkle with salt and pepper, toss in the fruit slices and dress with the vinaigrette. Place the lettuce on a plate, then fruits and pour over the remaining dressing. Sprinkle over the ricotta cheese to add the final touches. And there you have it! Just make sure to serve it chilled to get the best taste.
