GOOD Earth recently launched its Delhi flagship called 'The Good Earth Tower' at City Walk. The store is spread over four floors across 18,000 square feet.

The idea behind the décor and layout of the store was to take the contemporary space and infuse it with an expression of Indian luxury, culture and heritage.

Architecturally, this is accomplished by modern interpretations of the jaali, which is a typically Mughal and Rajasthani feature.  These jaalis give the space a timeless feel with a play of chiaroscuro.

The jaalis have been used interestingly to carve out niches while the jharokhas open out into courtyards revealing only a glimpse of what lies beyond.
