From tea sets to beanie babies and puzzles to Barbie dolls… you can barely see the floor of your daughter's room. The worst part is that you are left to clean up after her. Well, you can get her to clean up her own room.

Hang a rack on the wall in such a way that only the top pocket is out of her reach. Put a little treat in it for her. It could be a chocolate, crayons or glitter pens. Tell her Source: Lifestyle                                 that once she has put her little toys into the lower pockets, she will get the treat in the last one.

If your kid is too small to clean up on her own, try a miniature netted hammock attached to the wall.  Let her dump all the stuffed toys, beach balls and blocks in there. It makes packing easy and the room looks colourful too.

Daddy Long Legs

With the way kids shoot up, a growth chart wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Tell your kid to stand next to Mr. Giraffe and mark off his height every month. It will be a quick reference while filling in those school and medical forms.

It doesn't take up any place. You can stick it onto a wall or even on the wardrobe.

Feed the Bug

Place a fun clothes bin such as one that is shaped like a bug in a corner of your son's room. When your son comes home from school, ask him to feed the bug with his dirty school uniform. The trick is bound to work and your days of picking up the dirty clothes are over!
